Here we go! I’m launching a new website www.noahfarkas.com so that I can share my thoughts and experiences on my life journey. Join me for conversations on faith, justice, spirituality, and our world.
It’s appropriate to begin every journey with a blessing. Blessings name the moment we are in. They give us meaning by setting our intentions and focusing our mind.
“Blessed shall you be in your comings and blessed shall you be in your goings.” (Deuteronomy 28:6)
Abraham’s first call from God is to be a blessing. Each one of us can be a blessing to ourselves and to other people. So let us begin our journey together with an ancient one from the book of Deuteronomy:
Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the countryside.
Blessed shall you be in what you create, the produce of the land, the offspring of your herds and the flocks.
Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.
Blessed shall you be in your comings and blessed shall you be in your goings. Deut. 28:3-6
Let us all be a blessing for each other. Amen.
