Thank you to Holocaust Museum LA CEO Beth Kean and Vice Chair Patsy Palmer, for showing us the exhibits depicting the most horrific time in modern day Jewish history. If you haven't already, please visit @holocaustmuseumla to educate yourself. We must ensure history does not repeat itself. #YomHaShoah #NeverForget
Fantastic job to Federation partner Anti-Defamation League for creating a detailed and robust report on the rise of antisemitism in the United States. Please take a moment to read ADL’s report at https://www.adl.org/audit2021s for a deeper understanding of the crisis confronting the Jewish community. Let’s educate one another on how to combat hate.
We asked some of our employees to tell us what they think the 10 plagues of L.A. are. What would you change on the list?
Our hearts are heavy on this Shabbat eve. Yesterday's terrorist attack in Israel was yet another tragic example of the constant threats Jews in Israel and around the world face simply for being Jewish or a citizen of Israel. The victims of last night's terror attack, who were out enjoying a beautiful Israeli evening on a popular street in Tel Aviv, could have been any one of us. This also reminds us why we must be vigilant and all join together to work towards the safety and security of Jews everywhere. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. May their memories forever be a blessing as we pray for peace.
Supporting and developing the professionals in the Jewish community is what we’re all about. This week we’re meeting with some of our partners to make sure they’re heard and taken care of. #JFedLA #JewishLA
